Police have arrested one more person in connection with the alleged sexual harassment of girl students at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya here by their teacher.
With this, the total number of arrests has gone up to four.
Police had earlier arrested the school's physical training instructor Sandeep Ladkhedkar, chemistry teacher Rajan Gajbhiye and biology teacher Shailesh Ramteke after the girls lodged complaint of sexual harassment against them.
"Former student of Navodaya Vidyalaya of Chandrapur, Mangesh Munganwar, has also been arrested as co-accused for providing shelter to the two accused teachers," a police officer said.
Mangesh was arrested on Saturday night and was brought to Akola yesterday. He was remanded to police custody till April 10.
The centrally-funded school chain has launched an internal probe by a three-member panel which has been asked to submit its report in a week's time.
