Haryana government today introduced online receipt accounting system in the state with a view to adopt an integrated financial management system.
This will enable all depositors, whether government or private, to make payments online through net banking facility, an official spokesperson said.
He said those depositors who do not want to use net banking facility for payments can generate challan using the new system, and they would no longer be required to visit the treasury to get it verified by the officer there.
The spokesperson said that with full implementation of the system, manual filling up of challans would get discontinued.
Treasury offices in the state would, however, provide facility to generate challan from the system and depositor can approach the treasury for this with requisite details.
In case of any difficulty, the depositor can approach the concerned treasury for generating the challan, he added.
