The Saudi man, who has not been named, accused the victim of talking to his wife and slapped him before attacking with a belt, the Al-Arabiya reported today.
The video shows the Asian victim in an orange dress with a swollen eye pleading repeatedly to the Saudi man, who ignored the plea and continued beating him brutally.
"The beating has led the Saudi's human rights authority to receive multiple complaints by viewers calling for the perpetrator to be punished," its spokesperson Ibrahim al-Shadi said.
"The act also flouted rules set by Islamic Sharia," he was quoted as saying by the Al-Arabiya.
Shadi said that regardless of why the man was allegedly assaulted, the perpetrator's actions did not abide by state- enforced rules on the protection of human rights.
