: Journalists who get formal approval from the Sri Lankan High Commission would alone be allowed to participate in the festival at St.Anthony's church at Katchativu islet, off the island nation, officials said here today.
They said that visa from immigration officials should be obtained by the journalists covering the festival.
A meeting of fishermen and officials was held in this island, where it was announced that women devotees should not wear any jewels. Similarly fishermen should not bring any product for barter trading in the island. Any attempt to smuggle drugs would be dealt with strongly, they said.
