"The opposition cannot comment on our work. That is why they are creating fear in the minds of minorities against the government, party (BJP) and leaders," Gadkari, the former BJP national president, told reporters here last evening.
"When they cannot convince (people against BJP), they are seeking to create confusion...They try to create communal discord by pointing out that church or mosque is attacked in the BJP rule. BJP has no links with these incidents," the minister asserted.
Similarly, probe into the attack on a church in Delhi found that some inebriated persons had thrown stones at the structure.
"All these incidents are unfortunate, but directly or indirectly, BJP or any other organisation of our ideology or the Union government are not involved in them," he added.
