"We are in the opposition. When the Modi government takes office, it's not good opposing it very strongly from the beginning," TMC leader and MP Saugata Roy told PTI here.
"Yes," he replied when asked that whether the party would raise financial demands of the state on the floor of Parliament.
Asked about the stance of the party having 34 Lok Sabha MPs towards the NDA government and Centre-state relations, another TMC leader Sudip Bandyopadhay, named by party supremo Mamata Banerjee as leader of the TMC parliamentary party in the Lok Sabha said "I cannot say anything without consulting the party chief."
