Order bans meetings, processions for 15 days

: Police have promulgated an order, regulating processions, demonstrations, fasts, human chain meetings and assemblies for a period of 15 days from today.
The order under Section 41 of the Tamil Nadu city police act, 1888, would come into effect from 1100 hrs today to 1100 hrs on December 24, a release said.
