An organisation today demanded re-examination of All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) 2015, saying that most of the answer keys leaked matched with those published by the CBSE which conducted the exam.
Four persons, including two dentists and an MBBS student, had been arrested in Rohtak by Haryana police for allegedly passing on "answer keys" to some students using sophisticated vests attached with SIM card units and bluetooth-enabled earpieces during the AIPMT on May 3.
Addressing a press conference here, Support's president Seema Dwivedi said, "The original answer keys uploaded by CBSE have matched with most of the answers of the keys recovered from the accused in AIPMT leak."
"AIPMT is a high-standard examination. It is impossible to guess most of the answers and this can only happen with the connivance of staff of the bodies that conduct the exam. In this case, matching of most of the answers is a glaring proof that exam has been compromised," she said.
Pointing that leakage will deprive deserving candidates, Dwivedi said cases have been filed in Delhi High Court and Supreme Court demanding re-examination.
Earlier, CBSE had denied leakage of the AIPMT paper.
"It appears that the issue pertains to the use of unfair means and attempt to cheat by certain unscrupulous elements after the commencement of the paper. The Police department of the area (Rohtak) is initiating suitable action as per law," K K Choudhury, Controller of Examination, CBSE, had said in a press statement.
