A division bench of the HC, headed by the Chief Justice Vineet Saran, passed the interim order after a hearing.
The order was issued after a bunch of writs was filed in the High Court referring to several anomalies in violation of UGC norms in the advertisment of the university issued in February this year.
The advertisement had invited applications from eligible candidates for appointment of teachers in different categories--Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Professor--on the basis of which the interview of the aspiring candidates had begun on the day.
The HC had then ordered the university to give a fresh advertisement in four weeks and complete the recruitment process in another four weeks time.
