The ex-MP, however, denied the charge.
Mishra was booked in the case after police registered cross FIRs under sections of criminal assault, wrongful restraint, house tresspass and outraging the modesty of women on the complaints by both the parties, a senior police official said.
According to police, the incident took place this evening when a fight broke out between the families of Mishra's relatives and their neighbours, who live in Vaishali locality in Dabri area.
The fight soon took a larger shape, following which Mishra was called to intervene.
The police was informed and a team was rushed there.
"When the police reached the spot, a woman there, who was later joined by a few others, alleged that Mishra misbehaved with them.
Similar allegations were levelled against the other party by Mishra's relatives too," the senior official said.
