The searches were conducted in areas including Sakthikhand and Nandgram by separate teams, and some of the accused were caught with ledgers containing information of transactions worth lakhs of rupees, SSP Nitin Tiwari said.
The accused are being questioned, he said, adding that 20 mobile phones and a TV were also seized.
