Over 82 per cent voter turnout recorded in phase 3 of WB polls

Over 82 per cent of the electorate had exercised their franchise in the third phase of polling on Thursday for 62 seats West Bengal assembly seats.
Election Commission released the final voter turnout figure of 82.28 per cent today.
Polling had ended at 6 PM yesterday.
In the second phase of the ongoing polls, the final voter turnout was 83.05 per cent.
While in the first two parts of phase one of polling held on April 4 and April 11, the final turnout was 84.22 per cent and 83.73 per cent respectively, figures given out by the EC said.
