Over Rs 23 lakh looted from two ATMs

Unidentified persons struck at two bank ATMs here and stole over Rs 23 lakh, police said today.
Both the Automated Teller Machines were of the Punjab National Bank and the separate incidents happened last night, they said.
Using a gas cutter machine, robbers opened an ATM in Bhunga area and decamped with Rs 14.95 lakh, police said.
In another incident, some persons broke open an ATM in village Saran, stole Rs 8.12 lakh and fled, they said.
A massive hunt had been launched to trace them, police said.
