The 34-year-old "Voice UK" coach, said the pressure of starting her career late, pushed her to take the step, reported Digital Spy.
"I actually got my first record deal at the age of 27 and I felt, like, a kind of pressure because I'd read an article once about an artist called KT Tunstall and it just said she was really old, and she was 27.
"And I was really put off. And I went to this record label and I was like, 'Women aren't allowed to be over the age of 21 or whatever', so they asked me how old I was and I just went, '23!' And then basically that was my age for several years, and people still get confused now," Faith said.
