Sharif chaired a consultative meeting which was attended by federal ministers, advisers and special assistants to the prime minister at the PM House.
The premier's legal team also briefed him on today's hearing.
"The meeting discussed a counter strategy to respond to the opposition parties' protest policy," The News reported.
A six-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT) set up by the Supreme Court to investigate charges of money laundering against 67-year-old Sharif and his family had submitted the report on July 10 to the court.
