"The committee headed by Principal Secretary (Panchayat Raj) Jawahar Reddy and four other IAS officials informed the AP CM that there are around 12,000 AP state government employees who must be shifted immediately," a state government release stated.
Reddy told AP CM Chandrababu Naidu that Medha Towers near Vijayawada has ready-to-occupy space for official purposes and the building would be notified to accommodate AP government offices, according to a government committee.
The AP CM asked officials to explore the option of plying special busses from Hyderabad to the capital region for the convenience of AP state government employees and urged officials to keep a tab on rents being quoted by buildings, the release stated.
