Parrikar will file his nomination at 11 am tomorrow at Vidhan Sabha, party spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.
Parrikar, accompanied by another Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy, was accorded grand welcome by BJP workers on his arrival at Amausi airport this evening.
Talking to the reporters, Parrikar said he was fortunate to represent Uttar Pradesh in Rajya Sabha and would fulfill whatever responsibility is given to him.
In reply to a question, he said politics should not be done on cleanliness drive launched by the Prime Minister as it was a good thing and necessary for the health of the people.
