The actor will team up with Sanah, who made her debut in "Shaandaar", in a yet-to-be-titled romantic comedy.
"It is true. I don't want to talk about it much because we are trying to keep it a little low key for now. The film is about to start and we are figuring out a few details. It is a romantic comedy backed by lot of strong characters," Parth told PTI.
The film will be directed by Karan Kashyap, who has assisted filmmaker Mani Ratnam, and worked on films like "Chak De India!", "Don" and "Saathiyaa".
"We have Paresh Rawal, Pankaj Kapur on board. I am nervous to share screen space with them. I will soon start my workshop and will try matching up to these great actors," Parth said.
The actor is best known for playing Manik Malhotra in the popular youth show "Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan". Parth, however, says the film will be mature and not in the "youthful" zone.
"It is not a 'youth' film. My show is youthful, but the film will be a proper mature, family drama with well written characters. It is in that genre," he said.
"I am very happy. Sanah is very exciting. We will soon start working on our roles. Next month we will have our sitting where we will discuss the film, narration and everything," the actor said.
The shooting for the movie will begin in February 2016 and it will hit the theatres sometime later next year.
