Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Telangana, throwing normal life out of gear, officials said here Thursday.
The lowest minimum temperature of seven degrees Celsius was recorded at Adilabad, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its report for the state.
"Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Adilabad, Medak and Peddapally districts of Telangana," it said.
Medak recorded a minimum temperature of 8 degrees, followed by Ramagundam (9), Hanmakonda (11) and Hyderabad (11), the report, citing observations recorded at 0830 hours Thursday, said.
Several places in Telangana have been experiencing extreme cold conditions for about a month now.
