"Chief Minister Sri Naveen Patnaik expressed deep concern over the news of kidnapping of one Odia in Libya. The Chief Minister has instructed PRC to be in constant touch with the MEA for early release of Sri Pravas Ranjan Samal," a communication received from the chief minister's office said.
Samal, hailing from Odisha, was among the two Indians who have been abducted in Libya, according to reports.
