All Heads of the Departments, Commissioners of Divisions, all the Deputy Commissioners have been asked to issue instructions to all Drawing and Disbursing Officers to deduct the IAS officer's one day salary from the September pay.
The government has asked the concerned authorities to forward the deducted salary to Jammu and Kashmir relief fund in the form of demand draft in favour of 'Chief Minister, Punjab Relief Fund' payable at Chandigarh by October 7, an official spokesman said here today.
