These job fests will be held at various colleges in tehsils and districts under the state government's 'Har Ghar Rozgaar' mission in collaboration with different companies and NGOs, he said.
The first job fest under this initiative will be held on June 6 at Aryans Group of Colleges in Rajpura, near Chandigarh, the state technical education minister said.
Apart from providing quality education, it is every institute's responsibility to ensure that students develop proper skills so that they get good jobs, Channi said after a meeting with representatives of private technical education institutes.
