Necessary directions in this regard had been given by Vini Mahajan, Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Punjab, an official release said here.
At present, a "patient satisfaction survey through PGIMER, Chandigarh is in process. Based on the questionnaire developed by PGIMER, this feedback format shall be developed," the release said.
"It would emphasize on key service delivery areas at the health institutions," she has said in the release.
A mechanism to install feedback boxes is also being discussed and will be finalised soon.
Based on the feedback, she said, the government shall identify areas and services that need improvement.
A direct feedback from the patients shall also help the department to analyse specific and general problems facing patients and a strategy can be devised to provide effective solutions.
