A official of the board said that the three-member committee would include security manager, Colonel Waseem, Shafiq Ahmed, who is GM domestic cricket and independent member, Ali Naqvi.
Basit had alleged that the match between Sialkot Stallions and Karachi Dolphins was fixed.
Karachi went on to win the low scoring match. Afterwards Sialkot captain, Shoaib Malik and his players made a public display of their anger with Basit's allegations by wearing black armbands in their next match of the tournament.
A reliable source said that PCB Chairman, Najam Sethi had taken the allegations seriously and pushed for the formation of the three member committee.
"The committee has to submit its report to chief operating officer, Subhan Ahmad within 15 days," the source said.
