Congratulating Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on spectacular victory of 'Mahagathbandhan', Singh said that "it is a victory of secular forces consisting the RJD, JD(U) and Congress and a signal that united opposition can defeat the NDA."
The CM said that "the people of Bihar have shown the mirror to the NDA government by giving crushing defeat to communal forces.
The leader of the opposition in Himachal Vidhan Sabha and BJP leader PK Dhumal, along with the state party chief Satpal Singh Satti, said that "though the results are not to the expectation of the party, we accept the verdict of the people".
