Pichai becoming Google CEO global honour for Tamils: Karuna

DMK president Karunanidhi today hailed the promotion of Sundar Pichai, a native of Tamil Nadu, as the new CEO of Google as good news for Tamils and a global honour.
"It is a news which will make all Tamils happy. It is a global honour for the knowledge and skills of a Tamilian," he said in a statement here.
He said Sundar Pichai's thought process was special and constructive.
India-born Sundar Pichai was on Tuesday announced the new CEO of Google under a major restructuring at the technology giant.
