Liberation Front of India (PLFI) ultras and two of its sympathisers were arrested from two places of extremist-hit Khunti district today, police said.
PLFI activists Karam Singh Munda and Karan Hasa Purty were arrested from Raboli village under Murhu police station during a search operation launched by the security personnel, Superintendent of Police Anish Gupta said.
Gupta said one country-made pistol and two cartridges were recovered from them.
In another incident, the security personnel nabbed two persons, allegedly sympathisers of PLFI, from Karra Police station limit, he said.
The sympathizers were Dasrath Kujjur and Dilip Nayak.
Two stolen motorcycles, two mobile phones and PLFI literatures were seized from them, Gupta added.
