Sources told PTI, that in a meeting that lasted nearly two and half hours this evening, officials of the NITI Aayog gave presentations related to education from schools to higher education.
"Aspects related to performance of students, defining quality of education and various other issues were deliberated," a source said.
Apart from HRD minister Smriti Irani, secretaries in the HRD ministry V S Oberoi, S C Khuntia, NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kanth and senior officials of the PMO are learnt to have been present.
