The victim said that she had been raped for several months by the accused, Manoj (28), the police said.
A case of rape was registered against the accused in Jaitipur police station in the district yesterday.
The incident came to light when the girl was five months pregnant, Superintendent of Police K B Singh said.
The girl's parents approached the police after a village Panchyat asked the accused to pay Rs 50,000 to the victim.
The accused was on the run.
