Police inspector, constable killed in road accident

A police inspector and a constable were killed when their jeep collided with a stationary truck on GT Road in Fatehgarh Sahib district today.
The deceased were identified as Inspector Harjinder Singh Benipal and constable Amandeep Singh, police said.
Both were seriously injured in the mishap. They were taken to a hospital in Ludhiana where they succumbed, police said.
