Sub Inspector Girdhari Lal Gujjar, posted with Kotputali police station in Jaipur had demanded bribe from one Phularam Gujjar for settling a case against his son Hanesh Gujjar.
Hanesh was named in a case of cheating and the office had already taken Rs 10,000 as bribe and had demanded another Rs 16,000.
He was arrested while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000, DIG, ACB Govind Narayan Purohit said.
In another case, a UDC-cum-cashier and an office assistant of the local sub-registrar office along with a deed writer were arrested in Udaipur district for accepting bribe of Rs 4,000 from Bhanwar Lal Meghwal for registering land lease document.
The deed writer had accepted the bribe and handed over it to the two government employees.
