Cyber Crime Police of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate arrested Arun Kumar Tyagi, a special police officer with the Armed Reserve Force Headquarters of Hyderabad City Police, today.
The chairperson of child welfare committee of Ranga Reddy district of Telangana had filed a complaint against him.
Tyagi allegedly sent abusive SMSes on September 28 to one of the members of CWC and made phone calls. Earlier, the committee had passed an order giving the custody of Tyagi's minor children to his father.
Tyagi has been remanded in judicial custody.
