The entry of the fair being held at the Gulshan Ground would be free for public, a police spokesman said.
Besides eatables for different taste buds, an amusement park catering to different age groups is also being established.
"Stalls for different utility and gift items are also being put up, which would be sold on affordable rates," the spokesan said.
Activities like fancy dress and fashion show are also being held, and exciting gifts would be given to the winners and participants," he said.
A large number of committees headed by Inspector General of Police, Armed Jammu Zone, S A Watali and other senior officers have been formed to make proper arrangements for the success of the fair, he added.
