On the basis of the complaint of one Om Kanwar, who tipped off the police about four children being in custody of the perpetrator Madan Banwasi near the railway station here, the accused was nabbed yesterday, police added.
A case under sections of Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) of Children Act, 2000 has been registered against the accused, they said.
