Policeman's wife commits suicide

The wife of a police officer allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Indira Puram locality here, police said today.
The victim, wife of provincial arms constabulary (PAC) officer Ravindra Kumar posted here, was found hanging from the ceiling fan last night, they said, adding that she was suffering from depression for quite some time.
Her body has been sent for post-mortem.
In another case in the same locality, a 20-year-old youth allegedly hanged himself yesterday during the absence of family members.
No suicide note was recovered from the spot and the cause behind the suicide is being ascertained, they said.
