Pondy implements Central schemes to promote savings: Rangasamy

Puducherry Chief Minister N.Rangasamy today said various central schemes are being implemented by the territorial administration "to promote awareness of savings."
In a message on the occasion of World Thrift Day today, he said the 'Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana', 'Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana', 'Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana' and 'Atal Pension scheme' "which emphasise awareness and need for savings, are being implemented in the Union Territory."
Rangasamy urged government staff, employees in private sector, businessmen and the public at large to cultivate the habit of saving.
