The duo, who were in serious condition but stable, were shifted to a Kolkata hospital by friends and family late tonight, sources at Howrah State General Hospital said.
A top district police official earlier said Ganguly and actress Malabika Sen were together coming back to Kolkata from a show on the occasion of Durga Puja Mahasaptami in the district when their MUV collided head-on with a Howrah-East Midnapore passenger bus near Kona Expressway.
The official had earlier said that Ganguly had received head injury and was beinf treated at the ICU of Howrah State General Hospital.
The bus driver escaped but the vehicle was impounded, police official said.
