Power crisis: Karuna to lead protests against AIADMK govt
He will lead the protest at Valluvar Kottam in Chennai on December 18, a party statement said.
The party's Executive had earlier resolved to stage protests across the state on the same date on the power issue.
Faced with a demand-supply gap of around 4,000 MW, the state government has resorted to load-shedding running in to hours in many areas, to handle power shortage.
