"At present a total of 2,300 MW power is being supplied in the state which will go up to 3,000 MW in 2014 and 4,000 MW in the next year," Kumar said while addressing a function after inaugurating a road bridge here, about 50 km from Patna.
Power supply in Bihar was about 1,200 MW in 2012 and as low as around 750 MW in 2005.
He said every sub-division would have a grid sub-station and each block a power sub-station soon, and added his government was paying extra attention on building road bridges and so far 12,000 bridges have been constructed.
