Prabhu asks railwaymen to adopt yoga

Ahead of the International Yoga Day celebration, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu today appealed the railwaymen to adopt yoga and emphasised on maintaining cleanliness.
Speaking at a seminar on 'swachch railway abhiyan' here, he also asked all present to propagate the message of countrywide yoga programme on June, 21.
General Secretary of All India Railwaymen's Federation Shiva Gopal Mishra requested the Minister to look into the career progression of railway sanitation staff.
He also demanded adequate number of regular sanitation staff and dustbins at railway platforms, premises and stressed on strict enforcement of laws prohibiting people from littering railway premises.
