Pregnant woman killed as jeep falls into well in Raj

A pregnant woman was killed when a jeep in which she was travelling fell into a well at Halsia village, 100 km from Udaipur district, police said.
The incident took place last night when the victim, aged around 30 years, was travelling with her husband, who jumped out from the jeep before the mishap, police said.
The body was fished out from the well, which did not have a boundary wall, by a rescue team this morning, they said.
The jeep was taken out this afternoon.
The police is probing as to how the husband managed to jump out of the jeep before the incident, they added.
