'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' set to release this Diwali

Salman Khan starrer romantic family drama "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", which reunites him with his "Maine Pyar Kiya" director Suraj Barjatya after a long time, will hit the screens on November 11.
Salman will be seen romancing Sonam Kapoor after her debut 2007 movie "Saawariya" in the movie.
The director and actor started their careers almost at the same time with 1989 runaway hit "Maine Pyar Kiya". They followed it up with another hit "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" in 1994 and 1999's "Hum Saath-Saath Hain".
"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" is produced by Rajshri Productions and Fox Star Studios. The movie also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal, Armaan Kohli and Anupam Kher in key roles.
"'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' will be releasing during the Festival of Lights - Diwali. Rajshri is proud to partner with Fox Star Studios for this film that will release on November 11.
"Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor star in this complete family entertainer that we hope will tug at the heartstrings of audiences with the Indianness of love, and values it has in its core," Barjatya said in a statement.
With the film, Salman will be playing the character of Prem after a long time.
"Salman is playing a character that he hasn't played in a long time. He is the quintessential Prem once again that audiences have loved and treasured in their hearts. We are gearing up with release strategies that will unfold soon," he added.
Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios said, "We are proud to announce that Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is going to release on November 11, the Diwali weekend."
Himesh Reshammiya is composing the music for the movie.
