The President, who was speaking at a function at Asutosh College in the city rpt in the city, said by 2030 two-third of India's workforce would be in the working age.
"This population dividend would turn into a population liability if we are unable to tap the workforce with skill development," he said.
The President rued that out of the 713 universities and 3600 degree colleges and tertiary educational institutes in the country not a single one is ranked among the global 200 top institutes.
