President Pranab Mukherjee will embark on athree-day maidenvisit to Gujarat and Diufrom tomorrow during which he will interact with students and faculty of IIM Ahmedabad,besidesattending otherfunctions.
He will inaugurate Amul's state-of-art feed manufacturing plant,present DrAPJ Abdul Kalam IGNITE awardsto creative children as well as interact with faculty and students of Indian Institute ofManagement (IIM), Ahmedabad,tomorrow, a press release issued today by Rashtrapati Bhavan said.
On December 1, Mukherjee willvisit Sabarmatiashramand inaugurate its Archives and Research Centre, address the 62ndconvocationof Gujarat Vidyapith, visit Somnath temple and inaugurate a beachfestivalat Diu, it said.
It is Mukherjee's first visit to Gujarat and Diu after assuming the country's top office on July 25, 2012.
