A round-the-clock manhunt by police led to the arrest of the prime accused identified as Vikheho at about 2 am, although police had announced a reward of Rs one lakh for giving information about him, Dimapur SP V Z Angami said.
Earlier yesterday another accused Nizam Ali was arrested.
The student was chased and beaten up by a group of youths and left unconscious outside his school gate on December 28. He was flown to Guwahati for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries on December 30.
