Principal District Judge of Tiruppur suspended

Madras High Court today suspended the Principal District Judge of Tirupur K Ganesan on charges of serious malpractices and irregularities in appointment of judicial staff in Tiruppur District.
R Rajasekharan, the Judge for Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (TNPID), Coimbatore has been appointed in his place.
An official release from the Registrar General, Madras High Court, stated that PDJ Ganesan has been placed under suspension with immediate effect, pending contemplation of a departmental Enquiry in respect of the proceedings instituted against him.
