Private bus operators in Kerala will go on a token strike on June 11 to protest government's move to nationalise 31 bus routes.
Representatives of the Kerala Bus Operators Coordination Committee told a press meet here today that they will resort to indefinite strike from July 1, if the government failed to take a favourable decision.
The government's decision to nationalise the routes will affect nearly 12,000 private bus services, they said.
Earlier, a meeting of the Coordination Committee, comprising five associations of private bus operators, asked the government to desist from its move.
