They comprised of seven probationers from 2012 batch and six probationers from 2013 batch.
"The Vice President interacted with the probationers on various aspects of IP&TAFS viz its prospects, role and scope etc. He called upon them to serve with sincerity and integrity and wished them good success in their career ahead," Vice President's Secretariat said in a release.
The probationers were accompanied by senior officials of Department of Telecommunications.
They are presently undergoing two years training at National Institute of Communication Finance (NICF), Ghaziabad, an apex level training institute of IP&TAFS officers.
