In a statement here, he said the natural calamities in recent days had destroyed crops covering an area of over 2 lakh hectares. Over 10,000 houses had also collapsed in various incidents in the north districts of the state.
The Government had not taken any steps even after a huge damage was caused to people and property and had not convened a meeting of the Natural Calamity Committee in such a situation, he alleged.
