During a meeting of Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation, held under the chairmanship of the Election Officer and District Collector, Archana Patnaik, officers were told to take pledges from the staff to achieve 100 per cent voting.
Officers from PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation, Larsen and Toubro and Southern India Mills Association, participated in the meeting.
The collector explained in detail the activities initiated and implemented by the administration to enhance voter turnout and creating awareness of ethical voting among the public in the Assembly polls, more particularly in areas where there was low voter turnout in the last Lok Sabha polls.
